Mary:
My dear children, peace be with you today. You gather here in this place because you seek the presence of God. You come to receive a message from Heaven because you are searching after God. You gather in this church and in your home parishes because you desire the grace of God. Little ones, in all of your searching and seeking, in all of your chasing, you feel you must approach the Father, you must find Him. You do not understand that it is God Who has drawn you to Himself. You cannot comprehend how God desires to come to you in your brokenness. You do not understand how in each and every moment of your life, God is present, waiting for your response, waiting for you to give your entire heart to Him that He might do great wonders.
What joy there is in this word, for those who are seeking after God, those who are chasing the Lord, those who are running to find Him, so often get discouraged because they look about and they cannot not see Him. What joy there is in this word, that you do not see Him because He has been beside you, above you, beneath you, below you, and within you, always. He drew you to Himself. He called you to this place, this night, to receive a message from Heaven. He called you to this parish, each and every Sunday, and into your own parishes, to receive His grace.
You run and you seek, and you look for Him in the things of the world. In power, in prestige, in worldly wealth, you seek and yet you do not find what you look for. In the happiness this world has to offer you, you find only despair, for what your heart seeks is the peace and the joy only Christ can give you.
Little ones, He wishes to meet you in your brokenness. Precisely in the center of the storm in your lives is where you will meet Christ. Precisely on the cross, your cross, is where you will meet the Christ. Each and every one of you has a burden you are carrying, each and every one a brokenness, each and every one a wound. It is there that Christ desires to come, to transform, to renew, to heal, to re-create! He desires to make you a new creation in Him. How easily you will let go of the things that are easy, uncomplicated, and happy. How hard you hold onto your hurt, and your wounds, and your brokenness, as if any effort on your part can heal these things or give you peace. Give this brokenness to God. He is the only one Who can give you the peace you are searching after.
There is much fear in the world, much fear amongst my people. Fear is the enemy of peace. Fear is the mark of the evil one who desires to sow in you distance from God, rebellion from God, despair, and a lack of faith. Peace trusts as a child. Peace says, “Yes, God. I want your all!” Peace knows that God, in His infinite goodness and wisdom, in His tremendous compassion and mercy, will run to you as a father to a child to heal, and save you. In this way you obtain the peace of Heaven, a peace that can never be interrupted by anything on this earth, a peace that cannot be broken or stolen, a peace that can never be taken from you. No one can deny you the peace of the Living Christ in your heart, but you must choose this peace and this healing. You must choose.
Little ones, I do not doubt your sincere intention to live the peace of Christ and the love of Christ. Where you are lacking is in your ability to let go of the things to which you hold fast that keep you far from Him. Over these years, my Son has deigned to speak to you at times, and when He has done so through my messenger, His messenger, He has spoken to you of smashing idols. Still, you stubbornly pick up all of the little pieces and reassemble them. I do not chastise you, little ones, but come to you as a mother who can look into the hearts of each of her children, knowing each so uniquely, so individually, and see not only the gifts, and the talents, and the beauty, but also the weaknesses and the struggles. As any mother, I come to my children, I encourage my children, I support my children, and I extol my children to greater virtue, that they might have the joy that their hearts desire. Stop building yourselves these small idols. They are as nothing compared to the One, True, and Living God. They cannot bring you peace, and they cannot bring you happiness that you long for.
What are these idols that you build? Every time you make of yourself a god, every time you put your needs before the needs of your brothers and sisters, every time you fear living your faith to the fullest, every time you deny Christ by denying the truth of His teachings, every time you cave to the pressures and desires of the world instead of living the virtue God desires for you, every time you raise your voice in anger, every time you turn away from one who is rejected and abandoned, every time you fail to speak truth where there is a lack of truth, every time you speak when you ought not, you are building of yourself a small idol. It is you, yourselves, that become the idol.
Often I have said to you over many years, that on the altar of the heart of every man there is a god. Let it be the One, True, Living God! No other god will satisfy. If you make of yourself a god, you will be disappointed. That life can only lead to greater brokenness and greater fear, and I desire for you great peace, the peace that surpasses all human understanding, that is rooted in the perfect trust of God the Father who wants nothing more than to love you exactly as you are. My children, I call you to virtue not that you might earn or merit the grace of God, but in response to the amazing, miraculous, and incomprehensible gift of His love and mercy. Never can you merit the gift He has given. You need not. It is given freely to you. Simply open your hands and receive Him and know that He is God.
My little ones, as I come and speak to you these many years, and I speak to you of the path to Christ, how easy it is to think of the world as those out far from you and yourselves who are, in your minds, exempted from the message that I bring. Tonight, this message I speak not to those out “far from God,” some place in your imagination, but to you, in this moment, who hear my words! Whether you hear these words in this church or at another time, God has brought them to you. Through whatever means you are hearing them in this moment, God has called you to this moment of conversion and grace. Hear me then, little ones, as I say: now is the time to give your heart entirely to God, that you might live and know His joy! There is no other reason. God has no need of your love. He has no need of your worship. He desires to love and to inspire you with joy that leads to worship. Receive your God.
Tomorrow, when you wake, you will for the most part have forgotten the words I have spoken. You will open your eyes to each of your individual lives, and you will begin to go about the life in the place God has planted you. This is human nature, and it is not wrong that you ought to live where you have been placed, for that is the vocation you are called to. You need not do great things in the name of God, but the small things, the things He is asking. However, my little ones, I do ask that you do not forget these words. I do ask that as you open your eyes to greet the sunlight of the new day, think first of God. Let Him be your first thought and your last thought. In this way, you will come, each day more and more, to remember God. Yes, little ones, my children struggle so that they cannot even remember the God that even in this moment, places the air within their lungs. When you begin your day thinking of God and His goodness, when you end your day with this thought, my words will be alive for you and you will have a growing gratitude in your heart for the graces and the crosses. Gratitude is the seed of worship, worship is the seed of adoration, and adoration is the work of the saints.
Dear little ones, I impart to you my motherly blessing. I ask you as your mother, who loves you and wants all good things for you, to hear with open ears and an open heart. Be opened! Let the Holy Spirit fill and free you, unbind you from the chains that fetter you, and give you peace and life in Christ.
